       Organized in 1836, Urbana First is the oldest church in the Champaign-Urbana area. We have been around for 165 years because God has blessed us with the gift of welcoming people into our fellowship with open hearts, open minds and open doors.

Heifer Project International, through financial support of individuals and organizations, provides animals and trees to people in developing nations helping them to be more self-sufficient.  In addition to the animal or tree, the families are given information on        how to take care of their animals and are required to give the animals first offspring to  another family in their community  and teach them how to care for them.
